As a muslim I do not like the fact that the bible is publicly being made fun of, though I also do not like the fact that its been corrupted to such a point, in any case let me make one thing clear. Being gay is disgusting, more importantly its unnatural, I know many times this word has been used in less respectful arguments, but to those who can understand its meaning, then begin to acknowledge it and break away from confusion, although I'm not sure if proper understanding of its foulness can be achieved without Islam. Regardless, the more pressing issue would be to delve into the knowledge of Islam and embrace its clarity. I obviously have not read Mr Falzon's book, I just came across this site via a google search, but I can imagine as to what it contains. Half would be on how the bible is wrong and corrupted and the other would be on how it makes people bad, to the later, I would say you don't give people enough credit. In short, seek out Islam, don't make fun of the bible or torah.

I have constantly heard the argument from Muslims that gay is "disgusting," but I think it pales in disgust when compared to a religion that would lead people to fly commercial airliners into public buildings leading to the death of thousands (including some Muslims). Islam is anti-gay, anti-women, anti-intellectual and anti-human. It puts a fictional, floating god above living, breathing, compassionate individuals.

If you're referring to homosexuality being a state of confusion, you have it on good authority that it is nothing of the sort — I'm absolutely, 100% sure (and always have been, since childhood) that I'm attracted to the same sex, not the opposite. Disgust is subjective and idiosyncratic, and ergo, should not be used to determine morality.

Half the population forcing the other half to hide under cloaks, obsessively praying five times daily in the same direction, and slaying/amputating/beating others for the most trifling little things (rather than for food or self-defence) can all be construed as "unnatural", since no other species display such lunacy. At least five hundred, however, exhibit homosexual behaviour. Come again?

(In all likelihood, you probably won't read this anyway, so yes, I'm fully cognizant that I just spent 20 minutes in vain.)

As a figment of human's imaginations, I lack the will to regard it when the bible is being publicly mocked, and I don't care about it when it's words are corrupted. In any case, let me make myself clear; being homosexual is not disgusting, and more importantly completely natural. (Naturalness is not exactly a good argument against anything anyways, as humans use computers, tools, and cars, don't they?) To those who *truly* understand it's meaning, begin to acknowledge it and break away from the confusion. I am quite sure proper understanding of how wonderful it is cannot come from Islam. Regardless, the more pressing issue would be to delve into the knowledge of Islam and understand that it's all a load of crap. I obviously have not read Mr. Falzon's book, I just came across this site via my omniscience, but I can imagine that it is absolutely wonderful. To the later, I would say, you give people enough credit by writing about their bullshit. Don't seek out Islam, it's shit.

I loved reading your book! Many books have been written on the false nature of religion, but using humor can show how ridicules Religion really is!!

P.S. Have you any plans about coming to Toronto Ontario to speak?

What's the Biblical Morality Tour?

Edward Falzon is the critically acclaimed author of Being Gay is Disgusting, a frank, fun paraphrasing of the old testament. He is presently writing the new-testament sequel, Women should Shut Up and Listen.

To officially launch this "Biblical Morality" book-series, Edward embarked on a 20-city Amero-Canadian (yeah, that's right) tour from July to September 2012. On the tour, he spoke mainly about how we're good people in spite of the bible*, not because of it, and that it's time to set this Iron-age nonsense aside, for good.

Thanks for all of the support from the atheist/secular groups in the Pacific and Midwestern states, and Canada's South-Western provinces!

* No, "bible" doesn't get a capital. With countless different versions that have very different meanings, and any number of books from 66 to 82, "bible" is no longer a proper-noun. It's just a regular noun. There's not one "Bible," no matter what anyone says.
